Nothing is quite as impressive, yet so easy to prepare, as a simple parfait. And now, with our Amaretto Brownie Mix, you can create beautiful and delicious Amaretto Brownie Parfaits.
Prepare the Amaretto Brownie Mix according to directions on the package, but reserve a tablespoon or so of the sliced almonds.
Let the baked brownies cool completely, then cut them into small pieces (in about 1 to 2 inch squares).
Layer the brownie pieces with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce or caramel sauce in an attractive glass. Top with whipped cream and some of the reserved sliced almonds, and fresh fruit (if desired). Serve immediately.
Variation: Instead of hot fudge sauce or caramel sauce, layer the brownies and ice cream with cherry pie filling or chocolate pudding.
