In the winter months I like to hang out at a cute little coffeeshop not far from my house. I sit there and write as I sip a cup of hot, soothing Cafe Mocha.
In the summer, when it's simply too hot to leave the house, I like to make this refreshing Cafe Mocha Shake at home.
CAFE MOCHA SHAKE
1 c. coffee with milk
2 tsp. chocolate syrup
1 1/2 c. coffee ice cream
Drizzle the chocolate syrup along the inside of a tall glass. Mix the coffee with milk and the ice cream until blended - I don't blend it completely because I like some "chunks" of ice cream in the shake that I can dish out with a spoon.
Pour the blended mixture into the chocolate lined glass. Serve with a straw and a spoon.
