Sunday's Food Tip: Fast & Easy Fruit for Breakfast or Dessert

It’s always good to include more fresh fruit in your daily menus. Summer is the perfect time to do that. Load up on juicy peaches and luscious blueberries at the farmer’s market, then try the following fast and easy mixed fruit dish as part of a leisurely Sunday brunch. It also makes a light and refreshing summer dessert.

Slice or dice a few peaches (about 1/2 to 1 peach per person). Wash 2 cups of fresh blueberries. Mix the sliced peaches and blueberries together.

Fill individual serving bowls with the mixed fruit. Top each one with a dollop of vanilla yogurt and some freshly grated nutmeg. Serve immediately.
