Prepare the Amaretto Brownie Mix according to directions on the package, but reserve a tablespoon or so of the sliced almonds.
Let the baked brownies cool completely, then cut them into small pieces (in about 1 to 2 inch squares).
Layer the brownie pieces with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce in an attractive glass. Top with whipped cream and some of the reserved sliced almonds. Serve immediately.
Variation: Instead of hot fudge sauce, layer the brownies and ice cream with cherry pie filling or chocolate pudding.
