If your family loves waffles but only the homemade kind, and you don't always have enough time in the morning to make them, try this. Make a double batch of waffles one Sunday morning. Let your family eat one batch, then freeze the second batch for another time.
Allow the waffles to cool completely before freezing. And don't stack hot waffles or they'll get sweaty and soggy. You can freeze waffles for up to 6 months.
To heat frozen waffles, pop a waffle into the toaster or toaster oven, or put several waffles on a cookie sheet and slide it into a regular oven at 375 degrees for about 5 minutes.
