Are you nuts for Nutella? If so, you aren't the only one. This creamy, chocolate hazelnut spread is sold in 75 countries and supposedly "outsells all brands of peanut butter combined worldwide." It's more popular in Europe (it was created in Italy) than in the United States, but Americans are developing a true fondness for this spreadable chocolate as well.

Nutella was created out of necessity after World War II. Read the interesting history of Nutella here.

I enjoy Nutella spread on toast. But I also like the fact that this creamy concoction can be used with other foods. Frost cupcakes with it, or use it as a filling for cakes. One Nutella lover developed a recipe for Nutella Banana Muffins .

And here is a HUGE collection of Nutella recipes. You'll find instructions for everything from Creamy Nutella Cheesecake to something called "Fresh Figs in Nightgowns."

Gosh. After reading some of these recipes you just might want to enter this monthly giveway for a FREE case of Nutella. At the very least you'll want to give Nutella a try if you're one of the few people on the planet who haven't yet tasted it.
