Sunday's Food Tip: Buying Small Amounts of Liqueurs for Recipes

Many special recipes call for just a few tablespoons of a specific liqueur or liquor for added flavor. But, if you don't usually serve or drink these items, after using such a small amount for your recipe you're left with a huge bottle of the stuff.

The easy way to solve this problem is to purchase these liquors or liqueurs in the small "airline" size bottles until you know you will be able to use full size bottles. You'll be able to try several different liqueurs and still probably spend less than you would for a regular size bottle of any one of them.
