Wednesday's Food Tip: Make Your Own Brown Sugar

brownsugar2

Make your own brown sugar, right when you need it. It will be fresher (without those hard, dry clumps that have to be removed) and you'll save money too.

Pour 1 cup of granulated sugar into a bowl. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of molasses (depending on how dark you want the brown sugar to be). Use a fork, or your hands, to combine the two ingredients.
